REPORT ON BIO SCULPTURE UV LAMPS BY THE AUSTRALIAN RADIATION LABORATORY UV Emissions from S 9W/10 lamps.

We have analyzed the ultraviolet radiation emission from the UV lamps. The emission spectrum is confined to the UVA and is low power, so the hazard is almost non-existent. Comparison with the Occupational Exposure Standard for Ultraviolet Radiation of the National Health and Medical Research Council indicates that it would take hundreds of hours to exceed the allowed limits, so a few minutes of exposure will not be a problem. Six hours of exposure under the lamps is equivalent to 10 minutes in the sun.
